Riko es una banda de rock en español que logra un estilo unico integrando mezclas de guitarras eléctricas y teclados con diferentes ritmos dentro del genero de hard rock, metal, pop rock y pop latino.
La banda comenzo en el 2006 con Jose Rico (voz y guitarra principal), Victor Bejar (guitarra) y Milton Rico (bateria). En el 2008 se unieron Marian Rico (teclado y voz) y KentyLove (bajo).
Jose Rico fue parte de la banda “Under an Eclipse” desde el 2003 hasta el 2007. KentyLove es parte de la banda “Tribal Scream” y ha sido integrante de diferentes bandas como: Kandela, Los Muchachitos, Philatinos, Anthony Colon y Rarbta; abriendo conciertos a artistas populares como Cabas, Cafe Tacuba, Huey Dunbar entre otros.
Con su musica Riko difunde un mensaje abierto hacia la humanidad expresando su pensar, su sentir, sus temores y su caminar.
En el ultimo año Riko ha interpretado sus canciones en varios lugares de Philadelphia incluyendo su participacion en uno de los eventos mas importantes de la comunidad latina,” Hispanic Choice Awards” en el Kimmel Center.
Actualmente Riko esta trabajando en la produccion de su primer disco “Almas Desnudas” cuyo lanzamiento sera a finales del 2008.
Riko is a Spanish-Rock band that achieves a unique style by integrating electric guitars and keyboards with diverse rhythms while within the rock genre, maintaining an undeniable Latin soul.
The band was formed in 2006 by Jose Rico (vocals and guitar), Victor Bejar (guitar) and Milton (drums). In 2008 Marian Rico (vocals and keyboard) and KentyLove (bass) joined the band.

Riko’s music conveys an open message towards humanity by expressing their thoughts, feelings, fears, and their ways of embracing life. This year Riko has performed their songs at various venues in Philadelphia including one of the most important Latin community events, "The Hispanic Choice Awards” held at the renowned Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts.
Riko is currently working on the production of their debut CD “Almas Desnudas” due to be released at the end of 2008.
